Maintenance Projects

 

Project:  Community Walk-through.

Description:   Walk-through each courtyard on a recurring basis to identify those items which require maintenance work or present a safety or security hazard.

Status:  On-going. 

Project:  Identify and report deviations and violations. 

Description:  Periodically walk-through the community to identify deviations or violations of the community’s guidelines or standards. Report findings to the Association’s Management company. 

Status:  On-going. 

Project:  Conceal or tidy-up unsightly external wiring. 

Description:  Install conduit or employ cable ties to conceal or tidy-up wires or cables mounted or installed on buildings’ exteriors. 

Status:  On-going. 

Project:  Sticker vehicles. 

Description:  Identify and affix a "warning; subject to towing" sticker on any vehicle parked on the property which is not in compliance with the Association’s Parking & Towing policy (Resolution 2009/07). 

Status:  On-going. 

Project:  Monitor vacant units. 

Description:  Periodically check on any unit which is vacant to insure there are no electrical, water or other maintenance-related problems. Report any findings to the Management company. Monitor each unit until it becomes occupied. 

Status:  On-going. 

Project:  Trash collection. 

Description:  When and as necessary, collect and dispose of trash or litter to assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the community. 

Status:  On-going.

February 2012 Board of Directors Meeting

A monthly meeting of the Mosby’s Landing Condominium Unit Owners' Association will be held on Thursday, 16 February,  2012, at 7:00 P.M. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (located directly across Chain Bridge Road from the community). The first 15 minutes of the meeting will be devoted to an "open forum." All residents of Mosby’s Landing are invited and encouraged to attend.

Please Note:  Beginning with the February 2012 meeting, monthly Board meetings will begin at 7:00 P.M

Election Results - Board of Directors

At the Annual Meeting of the Mosby’s Landing Condominium Unit Owners’ Association, at which a quorum of the membership was obtained, the following individuals were elected to serve on the Board of Directors: 

Cindy Sdrewski (Incumbent) - Three-year term;

Melinda Reed (New Member) - Three-year term;

Mary Norine Vandergrift (New Member) - Two-year term;

Dennis Palacio (New Member) - Two-year term;

John Wilhelm (Incumbent) - One-year term.

At their next meeting, Board members will decide which of the five officers will assume the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Member At Large. The results will be announced in a future notice.
